The new solo material from The Gossip front-woman Beth Ditto is really quite brilliant, which is a rather pleasant surprise given how shit The Gossip are. Probable international new single I Wrote the Book has just hit the Belgian (Flanders) top 20, and is accompanied by a fun video in which hirsute Ms Ditto looks rather fetching. An excellent EP, produced by Simian Mobile Disco, is slated for release in the UK on 7th March.
